Position Overview

The Biblical Museum of Natural History is a unique institution dedicated to bringing the animal world of Tanach to life.

Through interactive exhibits, educational programs, and captivating displays, we aim to inspire and educate visitors of all ages about the intersection of nature, Tanach and Israel. 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Coordinator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for museum marketing, a creative mindset, and the ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to increase our visibility, drive visitor engagement, and enhance our brand.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute marketing plans to promote the museum's exhibits, programs, and special events.

  • Direct marketing to group visitors - schools, seniors etc.

  • Develop partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, media outlets, and influencers to enhance the museum's reach and visibility.

  • Collaborate with the museum's leadership team to identify target audiences and tailor marketing strategies to reach and engage these groups effectively.

  • Collect /generate engaging content for various platforms, including blog posts, newsletters, social media updates, and press releases.

  • Coordinate and oversee the production of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, banners, and promotional videos.

  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data and insights to continuously improve and optimize strategies.

  • Together with our social media manager work on the growth of the museum's online presence, including website content, social media channels, email marketing, and digital advertising campaigns

  • Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources efficiently to achieve maximum impact.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in marketing, preferably in tourism or education industry

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools, including social media platforms, email marketing, SEO, and Google Analytics.

  • Language requirements: Mother tongue - Hebrew

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
